In order to reduce the risk of exposure to the Coronavirus, we announced the closure of our campus and community homes to visitors on March 16, 2020.
Mission Road continues to monitor the available data regarding the Coronavirus for the San Antonio area. Data is available through the city’s Progress and Warning Indicators, which can be found at SanAntonio.gov.
We are happy to announce that our Free To Be Day Activity Program at Mission Road Developmental Center on our Southside campus and the Day Activity Program and the Job and Life Skills Program at Unicorn Center on our Medical Center Campus have re-opened on a limited attendance basis. Currently residents of Mission Road community homes and Mission Road non-residential clients will be attending. In the coming months we’ll be adding participants from other agencies on an invitation-only basis. Infection control protocols, social distancing and the wearing of face masks are all enforced.
The Southside campus which contains our children’s residential program is open to visitors on a pre-scheduled basis. All visitors must check in with the receptionist at the Human Resources building. Visitors will be screened and must wear a mask while on campus.
